Summer Recycling Pick-Up Dates

Below is the summer schedule for recycling pick-up. We will pick up around 10am on the Saturdays listed below.

July 10th & 24th

August 7th &21st

There will be no pick-up on Labor Day weekend. We will post the Fall schedule in September.

Spring Recycling Update

As the cool air begins to turn warmer, the days stay light longer and the trees and flowers begin to bloom; we welcome the Spring season. We hope that all of you had an enjoyable holiday time and new years. We now look forward to a beautiful Alabama spring (hopefully). 

Due to our family Spring Break plans, as well as the community yard sale that is taking place on Saturday, March 20th, we have decided to postpone recycling pickup until March 27th. Below is a list of dates for spring recycling pickup. Please make note of the schedule changes so that you may participate in neighborhood recycling this spring. 

With the coming of spring we are also reminded of the beauty of our earth and are hopefully re-energized to continue in our efforts to take care of our planet. Thank you to all who have faithfully participated in recycling in Grand Ridge Forest, we greatly appreciate your contribution. April 22nd is Earth Day. If we become aware of any community events for earth day, we will post them on the blog.
